Electrical Testing Service
- Electrical Resistance Test –IS has mentioned permissible resistance limit of the electrical accessories. In this test Electrical resistance is checked to confirm that accessories are suitable to perform their intended task with higher efficiency.
- Heat Cycle Test: This test is performed to verify temperature performance of dead end, Midspan Joints and power connectors. For conforming design characteristics of the hardwares this test is performed. Hence this test is included in type test category.
- Temperature rise test: This test is performed to check temperature rise of the power connectors while carrying rated current. Temperature rise of the power connectors shall be within limits as mentioned in IS 5561:2018
- Magnetic Power loss test: Limit of magnetic losses is checked by performing this test. Magnetic losses are because of ferrous component in the equipment. IS provides permissible magnetic losses limit. This limit is verified by performing this test.

Chemical Testing Service
An Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) is a powerful analytical tool used for chemical analysis by measuring the light emitted from a sample when it is excited, typically by a high-energy spark. The technique is widely used in various industries.
Metallurgy – OES is commonly used to analyze the composition of metals and alloys for quality control and certification.
Advantages –
Chemical Composition of all Ferrous & Non- Ferrous Metals –
- Fast and Accurate: OES provides rapid analysis with high sensitivity.
- Multi-elemental Analysis: Capable of detecting multiple elements simultaneously.
- Quantitative Results: Provides reliable quantitative analysis for a wide range of elements. Overall, OES is a highly effective and versatile technique for elemental analysis across a broad range of industries.
Chemical Composition of all Ferrous & Non- Ferrous Metals –
- Aluminium & its alloys
- Carbon & low alloy steel
- Stainless steel
- Copper & its alloys
